#OnThisDay 1598 The army of Hugh O’Neill & Hugh O’Donnell attack & rout Crown forces at the Battle of Yellow Ford. The Irish killed roughly 2000, including Marshal Bagenal, the head of the English army & the rest of the Crown army fled back to Armagh. #Ireland #History
