#OnThisDay 1920 the East Limerick IRA under Donnchadh O’Hannigan (right) linked with Tom Barry’s (left) column & ambushed a foot patrol of six Black & Tans & 2 RIC at Kildorrery, Cork killing one & wounding the rest. Arms & ammo were taken. British reprisals followed.
