#OnThisDay 1981 Nora Connolly O’Brien, member of Cumann na mBán, activist, Irish republican & daughter to executed leader James Connolly passed away. Nora was in Liberty Hall on the first day of the Rising but Pearse ordered her to Tyrone to muster the troops.
