#onthisday 1921 Sean Gaynor & a flying column from the Tipperary IRA ambushed a 12 man bicycle patrol of RIC & Black and Tans at Modreeny, near Cloughjordan, Tipperary. They killed 3 RIC men & 1 Black and Tan from Scotland.
