#OnThisDay 1941 Dublin was bombed by the German Luftwaffe, the North Strand being worst affected. 28 people died, 90 injured & 300 houses were ruined. Reasons for the bombing were varied, either for sending fire brigades to Belfast or a navigational error. #Ireland #History #WW2
